Martin has been engaged in debate for more than half of his life and has contributed to its successful expansion - as a teacher, judge, trainer, leader of various projects and as a member of the Council of the Estonian Debating Society. If you ask him what he considers to be his greatest achievement in debating, he would probably mention participating in the semi-finals of the Oxford University debating tournament, but the fact that Martin has been a judge in the finals of Estonian debating tournaments more than 10 times is also not less important. Martin has a bachelor's degree in economics and in business management from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and a master's degree in strategy and international management from St. from the University of Gallen in Switzerland. In addition, Martin has furthered his education at the Asian Institute of Management in Manila.
During his career, Martin has worked mainly in finance, supply chain and strategy related functions in various large multinational manufacturing companies. For the past few years, Martin has been leading the business development department of one of Estonia's largest food producers.
