Age Toomla has a master's degree in comparative politics from the University of Tartu and has previously worked in the Domus Dorpatensis Foundation for Science and Culture as the head of the youth leadership program, in the Ministry of Education and Science and as a chief expert in the Education and Youth Board. Today, Age works as a consultant at Haap Consulting, where she mainly deals with research and analysis. "Experiences from different sectors have quite convincingly proven that critical thinking and reasoned communication are universal and welcome companions in all professional situations", Age summarizes her personal experience of developing argumentative skills.
Age has been involved in argumentation since 2004, when she started debating in elementary school, representing Estonia, for example, in the K. Popper debate format world championship. In addition to debating, she managed debate clubs and trained debating teams, organized and refereed several tournaments.
